Honors & RecognitionsABMA has a long and proud history of accomplishment; a significant component of that accomplishment has been those individuals within the American boiler and combustion equipment industry who have given selflessly of themselves to the betterment of, not only their industry, but of their trade association. Periodically, ABMA has recognized these leaders for their service by conferring upon them either Honorary Membership (until 1990) or the Association's coveted Distinguished Service Award (DSA). Recently, the Association has conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award on select individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary devotion to the industry and to the Association over a lifetime of service. The list of Award recipients reads like a 'Who's Who' in the history and evolution of boiler and combustion equipment industry - individuals whose accomplishments and tireless devotion to and involvement in their industry, through the ABMA, have left an indelible testament to innovation, creativity, safety and workmanship. Because of these individuals and those who still actively participate in the affairs of the industry, the American Boiler Manufacturers Association possesses a renewed strength of purpose and passion for service - confident that amazing things can happen when you pursue new ideas with an open mind and an entrepreneurial spirit. We doff our collective hats to our founding members, to our existing members and to those of you who will join with us in decades to come as advocates of the boiler and combustion equipment industry and its products and services.
