Special Opportunity for Houston Area Students & Education Institutions

ABMA is offering a unique opportunity for engineering and welding students and Education Institutions in the Houston area on April 4, 2017.

Students (and Education Leaders) are invited to attend part of our 2017 Manufacturers Conference and engage with leading companies manufacturing in various segments of the boiler industry, many from the Greater Houston area and the state of Texas. This opportunity is free but does require advanced registration.

Why Attend?

This is a special opportunity for students and educational institutions to engage directly with boiler industry leaders and learn about career opportunities. The program will begin with a special Boiler 101 Seminar created, in partnership with WARE, to obtain insights on today's boiler industry.  Following lunch, seminar participants will join conference attendees for tours of two ABMA member companies - ValvTechnologies and Quest-Tec Solutions - to see the boiler component manufacturing process firsthand and talk to young professionals in their desired career paths.

In addition, students have the opportunity to submit their resume when registering for the event.  All resumes will be shared with ABMA member companies prior the event for individual outreach.

Participation Options & Logistics

All students have the option to attend the full day or select either the morning or afternoon sessions.  Education Leaders (Professors, Instructors, and Administration Officials) also have the options above.
